Love Scan & Sign Privacy Policy

Love Scan & Sign is a local-first document scanner and PDF signing app. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.

Documents and Files

Scanned documents, imported PDFs, signatures, exported PDFs, and certificate-signing results are stored locally on your device. The app does not upload your documents to our servers and does not provide cloud sync or account storage.

When you choose to export, download, or share a PDF, Android sends the selected file to the destination you choose. That destination may have its own privacy policy.

Purchases

Pro subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. Google may process purchase identifiers, payment status, subscription status, and related account information according to Google Play policies. The app uses purchase status only to unlock Pro features and remove ads.

Analytics and Crash Reports

The app may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability. The app sends product events such as scan completion, export completion, paywall views, purchase flow status, ad loading status, app language, Pro/free state, crash reports, and non-fatal error types.

The app does not send document names, PDF contents, scanned images, signature drawings, certificate labels, certificate private keys, file paths, or user-entered document text through analytics events.

Advertising and Consent

The free version may show Google AdMob ads. In regions where consent is required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform before requesting ads. Google and its partners may process advertising identifiers, approximate location, device information, app interaction data, diagnostics, and consent choices according to Google's advertising policies and the consent choices you provide.

Pro users do not see ads in the app.

Certificates

When you sign a PDF with an Android-installed certificate, the app asks Android KeyChain to let you choose a certificate. Private keys remain managed by Android and the certificate provider. The app uses the selected certificate only to sign the PDF you requested.

Data We Do Not Collect

The app does not create a Love Scan & Sign account, does not collect your email address, does not collect contacts, does not record audio, and does not upload document contents to a backend controlled by us.

Data Deletion

You can delete scanned documents and local files inside the app. You can also delete all local app data by uninstalling Love Scan & Sign or clearing the app storage in Android settings.

Love Scan & Sign does not create user accounts. Google Play subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through Google Play. For privacy questions or deletion requests about data controlled by the app publisher, contact the app publisher through the email listed on Google Play.

Children

Love Scan & Sign is intended for general productivity use and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change. The updated date above will change when the policy is revised.
